hey. Thanks for the video. Is Tax id and Tax number different numbers? My Tax Id is 11 numbers but in Elster it asks for only 10 digits when I select country Berlin. Thanks again

You said in the video that Identification Number either sent by Finanzamt or by the employer. I tried to use my ID number but they do not accept only the ID that sent by Fiinanzamt. Why is that they do not accept it, i mean my ID rather the one sent bt Finanzamt? What are the difference between the two?

I am not able to enter tax id number due to having only 10 digit space there but usually steur id comes with 11 digit.

I have followed these steps until I got the activation ID from email, and for the activation code from the letter, how can I find out? because during registration there was no address filled in and also I did this registration in my country, Indonesia, not Germany.
