Cave Temples Badami | Travelling Wonders | Karnataka Trip

Cave temple complex in Badami, Karnataka is a Chalukya era monument which consist of 4 caves. Carved in almond coloured stone, 2 of the caves are dedicated to Lord Vishnu and 1 each is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Jain saints. The cave complex lies on the southern side of the beautiful lake Agatsya. Another marvelous architectural monument, Bhootnath Temple lies on the northern side. Badami is a must visit destitation for those who are interested in ancient Indian culture and heritage.
