Android emulators serve various purposes, from helping developers test apps to gamers playing on a large screen. Maybe you are switching from iPhone to Android, or you merely want to test out a custom software on a PC. The possibilities with Android Emulators on Windows and Mac PCs are endless. Regular users might also yearn to experience Android OS on a Windows PC, complimented with a mouse and keyboard.

While BlueStacks has always topped the list of phone emulators for PCs, few others are catching up insanely fast. So, here is the list of the best Android Emulators for PCs. In this video, we’ll be discussing the pros and cons of each emulator in detail.

BlueStacks (most popular Android emulator)
Nox Player (Best Emulator for PC)
GameLoop (Tencent Gaming Buddy)
MEmu (Windows)
Android Studio (Windows, Mac, Linux)
Genymotion (best Android emulator for Linux)
Phoenix OS (Windows)
PrimeOS (Windows, Mac)
AndY (Windows, Mac)
LD Player (Windows)
ARChon (Windows, Mac, Linux)
Bliss OS (Windows, Linux)
KOPlayer (Windows, Mac)
Remix OS (Windows)
MuMu App Player (Windows)

Android Emulators that didn’t make it to the top
The aforementioned were some of the best Android emulators that you can run on your Windows PC. Here are a few of the emulators who could not make it onto the list.

Droid4x
Arc Welder
AMIDuOS
Android x86
Xamarin

Before installing any of the above emulators, it is important to note that they are not completely bug-free and may lag from time to time. Also, the performance of these app players would be based on the specifications of your PC.

:: FAQ ::

Is GameLoop better than BlueStacks?
It always comes down to personal preference, as both are among the best Android emulators out there. It is mostly dependent on what your personal preference is and what it is that you want to use it for. However, just the sheer amount of apps available on BlueStacks does give it an advantage.

What are the benefits of using Android Emulator software?
With Android emulators, you can play mobile games and other apps using your mouse and keyboard. You will also be able to run high-end mobile games that can’t run on older phones. Most of all, you don’t have to worry about your phone’s battery life and continue to play endlessly.

Which Android emulator is the fastest?
BlueStacks, LD Player, Nox, and MEmu are some of the lightest and fastest Android emulators out there.

Does Emulator Slow Down Computer?
It all depends on your hardware and what emulator you are running. If you have an outdated PC but are trying to run a heavy-duty app on an Android emulator, your PC will slow down. If you have a high-end PC, you have nothing to worry about.

Is BlueStacks or NOX better?
Depending on your needs, you can pick one. BlueStacks is better when you need to use multiple apps, and Nox is better if you just want to play some games or use less apps.

Hi 9to5Linux 🙋‍♂️
My machine is Dell Precision M90, built in 2006, Core2Duo Merom Socket M, T7600 @2.33GH processor, x64, Chipset 945PM, Bios MBR Legacy, RAM 3.25 GB DDR2-667, NVidia GeForce Go 7950 GTX, screen resolution is 1920/1200. Is capable to run Windows 10 64bit but because the RAM is always almost full, I reinstalled the 32bit version. Now the ram is always 40-60%, I've tried to install DualBoot PrimeOS Standard x86 in a separate partition, it installed in Ext3, Ext4 and NTFS but it never started. I have no Linux experience, I cannot learn so many scripts to create and move folders and files. My only experience since 2004 is Windows.
Which AndroidOS you think is best for my system and for me which I am Windows experienced, not the most for games, but for media the most?

loud music and annoying accent, then you also didn't research the topic well, some of these don't work on linux and some aren't recommended because they aren't safe to use at all on any OS
