Introducing Talua, a youth activist leader from Tuvalu! Talua hails from one of the smallest nations in the world, comprising of nine breathtaking coral atoll islands, with a population of around 11,000 people.

Situated just 2 meters above sea level, Tuvalu faces some of the most severe impacts of the climate crisis globally. These hardships lead to the loss of precious cultural heritage - and pose an immediate threat to Tuvalu’s very existence 💔

But even in the face of adversity, the spirit and determination of the Tuvaluan people to preserve their country, vibrant culture, language and identity remains strong. Their powerful stories resonate far beyond the islands as they take this fight for #climatejustice to the world’s highest court, as part of a historic Pacific-led campaign.⁣
