The surgery went well and she adopted him. They developed a bond and had started going on long walks and played at the nearby park. Zeus accidentally ran into a karen one of the times they went to the park so the karen kicked him and her and OP got in a fight. One day OP came home from work and realized Zeus wasnt there. She then noticed a gap in the fence. She looked all over the neighborhood for him but had no luck. A few days pass and she gets a call from a nearby shelter saying they had found him. Once she got him home she noticed he was acting weird so she took him to the clinic. He had a small peice of plastic stuck in his intestines and it was life threatening. OP stayed up all night performing the surgery and he survived. A few months pass and it is now winter. OP and Zeus are playing in the snow when Zeus suddenly collapses. She takes him back to the clinic to find out he had hypothermia. The hypothermia was worsened by his previous health problems though but he made it. A few years pass and OP is sitting on the couch when Zeus curls up next to her. That night Zeus peacefully passed away curled up at the foot of the bed.

OMG GUYS I HAVE SOMEONE IN MY COMPLEX WITH A DOG NAMED ZEUS THAT THEY FOUND IN A DUMPSTER

A similar thing happened to me. I had accidentally lost my wallet the previous day so i decided to go to the dumpster by my complex to see if it was there and I heard this meowing and found a day old kitten in there. I told my mom and we rushed around town to get some supplies for the lil girl. This was around 7-8 so not many places were open at the time. We kept the kitten well fed and it was alright for the time being. I stayed up and fed her every two-three hours around 4-6am i noticed the kitten acting weird and told my mom as it she had just woken up to take care of her so i could sleep. We took her to the vets to get her proper care and i saved the kitten's life yet again with the information I had given. Sadly the vet told us the kitten didn't make it because they couldn't do round the clock care for her which we could've done and let her die. I'm glad I was able to give her the last 24 hours or so of that kitten's life warmth and comfort before she passed.

my cousin is a vet and one night she rang my door bell at 2am, I was so tired nd confused but I opened the door, sat her down and she started LAUGHING like crazy and then broke down into tears- Being a vet isnt an easy job, they see a lot of stuff.. she then told me what happened the whole day and told me she felt like she was dreaming bc the day had been so obnoxious that she felt like she was on a d*ug trip-

Not mine, but my mom's story. She owned a clinic one day, a man dropped a puppy. That man never came back for that puppy, and no one wanted that puppy either. So we adopted that puppy, that puppy we named Moly. Now Moly is 14 years old and is more loved in my family than anything. All stories of dogs like these, breaks my heart that a good boy or girl never got good homes to be loved in.
