Do you ever wonder what the Constitution really means? This video will show you how to learn the Constitution the way the Founding Fathers told us to. We'll explore a process called "originalism" to determine the original meaning of the Constitution's clauses and phrases.

Here's a sneak peek:

-We'll look at resources like dictionaries from the ratification era.
-We'll examine the debates that happened during the ratification process.
-We'll discover what the Founders themselves said about the Constitution's meaning.

By the end of this video, you'll be equipped to:

-Ask the right questions about the Constitution's meaning.
-Identify if the government is acting within its constitutional limits.
-and more!

I've literally shared roughly 8 videos of yours since I started taking to understanding our constitution better and more at depth, so thank you so very much for your amazing content and breakdowns to help clarify and make easier to understand the ideas and rights involved, you've helped me tremendously over the past couple weeks and I now refer us Americans as we the sovereign people and we the sovereign power, and this is absolutely how every American was meant to be understood as and respected to be, we are the singular sovereign power above all others in our nation, and for to long have we allowed ourselves to be invaded and usurped by our own servants and government...

We really need to help promote this channel to reach more Americans who think they know what the Constitution means when it's so clear that they do not.

Text and historical tradition from the 1791 era is how I have always understood the Constitution, yet my rights come from my humanity which are preexisting, before the Constitution and Bill of Rights was written, and made the supreme law of the land!

I have said this for years. And cops and lawyers almost always say it can only be interpreted and read by legal expert attorneys. Reminds me of the catholic church saying priests can only interpert the Bible

While the Constitution is often considered to be "the" founding American legal document, the Tenth Amendment Center is absolutely correct that it can only be understood in it's original context.

And that context is best framed by situating the Constitution amid the ongoing legislative and philosophical projects at the foundation of the United States of America. From Benjamin Franklin's work as party to the treaties between the Pennsylvania colony and the Iroquois Confederation in the 1750s to the Declaration of the Causes and Necessity of Taking Up Arms in 1775 to the Articles of Confederation is one worthwhile avenue of legislative research. But most important to the understanding of the Constitution is how many among the Colonies were wary of the change from a loose Confederation of States to the much stronger federal government created by the ratification of the Constitution. The Constitution was only ratified amid great general protest, and chief among the protests to ratification was that limits needed to be placed upon the newly created government's ability to infringe upon Rights granted to us by Nature and Nature's God. Rights that were beginning to be seen as Inalienable since at least the Declaration of Independence 13 years earlier, and that were coming into clearer focus with the writings of Thomas Paine and with the French Revolution.

Considering it took over three years from the ratification of the Constitution on June 21 1788 until the ratification of the Bill of Rights on December 15th 1791 can give us some idea of the scale of the protest against the Constitution without the limits of the Bill of Rights.

This is great!! Another very good resource is Brion McClanahan's book " The Founding Fathers guide To The Constitution ". In it he gives you quote after quote of what they said the constitution means.

Another awesome episode. Good recommendations. I've now downloaded most of the materials mentioned. Researching for my own books, including one almost completed on Warmongers and Peacemakers, drawing on an earlier episode on 5 ways liberty is jeopardized (off the top of my head, perpetual war, threats to property rights, gun control, and 2 others).

Great stuff! Take education back into our own hands as concerned citizens. And with a tool like the internet the possibilities are greater than the founding and revolutionary generation could have dreamed of. Restore Civics and broader understanding of history

Mr. Boldin.

Thank you so much for what you do.

A request:

“Correlate” what the Founders/ Framers were thinking/ did/ wrote…

To “TODAY’S” events…

And how they are in GROSS violation of their powers and therefore:

“VOID”

Contract law: the signers of the compact define the terms used in it. They did so.

The Constitution has been bypassed. For example according to article one our State of Alaska. By population and the Constitution unamended, should have at least 26 Representatives. But we have only one. Now, the original first amendment once ratified, might change the number down. But that amendment hasn’t yet been ratified so the proper number of Representatives we should stand. The Congress in 1921 passed the apportionment act which has effectively by-passed article five amendment process therefore the congress is illegitimate. Address this issue and start talking about the truth of how we do not have a legitimate federal government anymore.

It is written as is. The definition of each word in the documents are used in their respective purposes in terms of the context. Ie: well-regulated ≠ well regulated (they love to do that one).

It is also written in English, and the first the words are WE THE PEOPLE, not WE THE GOVERNMENT.
