We were just so surprised when it first hit our ears. we were both like really?? but as soon as that came out of our mouth he had a huge smile on his face and he started laughing and then in that microsecond we knew. He was joking. 😅
For those who may not get the Canadian Tire reference, in Canada we have a store called Canadian Tire and they have their own money like coupons sort of. of so when you spend so much money you get these Canadian tire dollars that we call Canadian tire money.
Since a lot of Canadians travel to Cuba some of them must be aware of this and he was telling us that they accepted that Canadian entire money. (obviously he was joking but he got us for a second lol)
