No, it's the MC-7 parachute system. Very similar to the Army's MC-6 that uses the SF-10 main canopy, but unique to the Marine Corps.

The craziest story I've read about USMC troopers is that during the WWII they decided they didn't like the silver Army jump wings they are supposed to wear and started wearing the gold Navy Certified Parachute Rigger wings because they liked the look of them better. In the late 60s, and after two decades of wearing the Rigger wings on their uniform out of regs the CO of Force Recon sent a request to the CNO asking to officially make the Navy Parachute Rigger wings the jump wings for both Navy and Marines. Because the reg violation was so common place and unchecked it was approved without the qualification of having to be an actual Parachute Rigger. Strangely, PRs today are not allowed to wear their Rigger wings after Navy Parachute Rigger school. They have to attend the Army jump school and then they can wear their wings, yet 5 jump chumps can wear them without attending Parachute Riggers school, which sounds about as ass backwards as possible. Only in the backwards lifestyle of the military does shit like that happen. What's next? SEAL Tridents for every Marine that is sharpshooter qualified? Who knows, but the story of the Parachute Rigger wings is one that I always thought was almost an act of Stolen Valor covered up by military politics and ass kissing.
