1/2 cup melted butter

other ingredients:
4 oz cream cheese softened
1/2 cup butter softened
2 cups powdered sugar
20 oz can crushed pineapple drained (divided)
8 oz whipped topping (cool whip) or use 8oz whipped cream

For general information: When you consider that butter and powdered sugar together can make a sort of cake frosting, you'll realize how SUPER SWEET and rich this dessert is. I made this with 1C sugar instead of 2 and still found it wayyy too sweet for my taste. This is definitely a full on heavy dessert, not a lighter fruitier one. Just my opinion for those who might be looking for the latter.

Cool Whip is hydrogenated oil. Use whipping cream. It's much better for you.

So i made this. My honest opinion is it was good but coula been better. Slightly l8 less softened butter and slightly more cream cheese. I used store bought cool whip cuz I was pressed for time but totally agree on the comment homemade would have been better. Also a bigger can or more pineapple would have been better. Thanks.
