"Badges? We ain't got no badges! We don't need no badges! I don't have to show you any stinking badges!"

Very cool. Reminds me of the time I made a S.H.I.E.L.D agent Badge for my Agent Cosplay (I went as Agent Clay Quartermain, who unfortunately never showed up in the MCU).

If you want badges without the plastic holder, it's a great way to use old hotel keycards that you forgot were in your pocket when you checked out. Print out your badge on label paper, stick it to the front of the keyboard, and use a nail file to make sure the edges of the paper are flush with the plastic.

Awesome, you and Brit looked great. I've used Inkscape for so many of my cosplays. Your tutorial was the best

The TGRI has logo is a bit heavier than that, but it's very close. It also has an outline of the TGRI going up and to the left kind of like a 3D look.

That's weird, I just pulled up a movie on YouTube and hit CTRL + ALT + PRT SC and it didn't copyright block it.

I so wish you had posted this a couple weeks ago. I would have made my husband Jurassic Park Ranger badge for DragonCon. Love the video and can’t wait to use the tips for the future!

I did a project like this with 150 kids at a VBS 2 summers in a row, like 10 years ago. The kids LOVED it and it was a waterproof ID that helped us ID the kids and they were super excited and invested. We used clip art instead of doing pictures of 150 kids in a single day… yeah, I’m not that crazy! But I’ve had kids who told me years later they still had it. 😅

I think the I in TGRI is supposed to stand for Industries, not Institute.

I love your dedication to getting it screen accurate even though you had parts that would be just fine.

Try taking a screenshot after disabling "hardware acceleration" in your browser. That generally stops video from going black on Netflix and other streaming sites, though I don't know about YouTube specifically.

Nice quick and useful tutorial! The results turned out great. (What good timing with the Inkscape tutorial promo too, I've been meaning to learn - Just bought a copy and I'll be digging into this soon)

Hey, off topic I know, but if you haven't had your airducts cleaned (I couldn't see any access points in the trunkline at 1:08) you should think about it. It helps your air quality as well as your furnace's efficiency.

I tried looking thought the movies frame by frame at parts with the TGRI badge bit couldn't find a better frame with the logo. But It did look like the TGRI on the lab coats are stitched on with gold thread with a thin black outline around each letter.

I have so many of those little badge holders (with lanyards) left over from when I bought a 100 pack to make small con trinkets. Maybe one day I'll find a way to use them up.

Well, Bill... Thanks for filling my "Feeling Old" quota for the week...I remember seeing Secret of The Ooze _in the theater._ 👴 I'm packing for a move right now, and I came across that cold-cast copper Hearthstone logo from Britt's resin casting tutorial stream. Reminded me how much I always enjoyed hanging out with y'all on Twitch. <3 Really wish you had a Discord community or something. ☹

I would like to ask for some advice. I have seen you doing some vacuum forming and I have this half dome with 50cm in diameter that is made from polyester that I wanted to recreate out of plastic.
My first idea was to make a silicone mold from the dome and then afterwards cast it out from concrete, so I can vacuum form as many I want.
But it seems a bit big and heavy, so I wanted to know what your thoughts and execution would be.

I've used Inkscape to draw up circuit layout before, now ... *evil laugh* ... cosplay stuff 😁
It is really good to use. 🤔 ... I did use it to make a stencil for tattoos (cosplay only) that I then sent to be cut 😊
So awesome video for those who didn't know.

I believe you can disable that copy protect in chrome and last i checked firefox doesnt have the copy protect. But for quick reference your solution also works!
