I once heard someone describe Muse as "rock from the future". I guess that's why their songs never get old.

"Origin Of Symmetry" is definitely their best album.

Link it to the world
Link it to yourself
Stretch it like a birth squeeze
The love for what you hide
The bitterness inside
Is growing like the newborn
When you've seen, seen
Too much, too young, young
Soulless is everywhere

Hopeless times to roam
The distance to your home
Fades away to nowhere
How much are you worth
You can't come down to earth
You're swelling up, you're unstoppable
'Cause you've seen, seen
Too much, too young, young
Soulless is everywhere

_Destroy the spineless_
_Show me it's real_
_Wasting our last chance_
_To come away_
_Just break the silence_
_'Cause I'm drifting away_
_Away from you_

Yeah, link it to the world
Link it to yourself
Stretch it like it's a birth squeeze
And the love for what you hide
And the bitterness inside
Is growing like the newborn
When you've seen, seen
Too much, too young, young
Soulless is everywhere

Matt's voice is a miracle on Earth. Thanks God for that.

The combination of the dirty guitar playing and Matt's unique singing style makes Muse such an awesome band.

Not only this song is an absolute banger, it's also one of the best exercises ever for bassists.

The riff on the verses streches the left hand and requires precision overall. Good for technique.

Then you release all of that tension during the chorus, go hard in that process, and this usually puts a huge smile on your face.

One of the most satisfying songs to play as a bassist.

"В небе ангелочки
Летают на цветочках..."
Так, благодаря Масяне, в начале нулевых я узнал о группе Muse))

I can't believe that muse have been around since 1994, and i only got introduced to them last year and had never heard them before that.

В небе ангелочки, летают на цветочках. А на земле...

I forgot about this song and how good it is... I was watching the horror movie "High Tension" and when the song started playing in one of the scenes, I was polarized and immediately transported back through time.

I don't think people realize how hard that bass line is. People need to give Chris Wolstenholme some fucking credit. I tried playing that riff for like 3 seconds and I almost lost my arm....

this song was the first riff i ever learned on guitar, nearly 15 years ago. matt bellamy was my god and i wanted to be just like him. and then i got fat

15 year old girl here, this song is literally older than me, but this is one of the best songs I’ve ever come across. EVER. The blend of classical with hard rock is just genius, it’s extremely addicting! Wish I had discovered this sooner! Freaking masterpiece

I remember when this first came out, I was about 5yo and saw this vid early one morning. I switched the TV on & my mum had left it on music channel. I was captivated. They later became my most favorite band and still are to this day.

My mum was pregnant when she discovered muse. Now I'm 15 and I can say it's been 15 years since I listen to Muse

The first minute and 20 seconds of this song is one of the best build-ups I have ever heard in my life. Then just pure chaos. What a band.

This, in my mind, is the single greatest riff of any muse song ever. It's raw energy.

The intro is a magical lullaby that immediately hooks you, then BAM, guitars in classic muse style to shake it up. I love pretty much all Muse songs, but this one is exceptionally fun. You never know quite where a Muse song will take you till it's done; perfect example.
