Nice review Sam...thank you. I'm not a fan of the EcoBoost engine in the Ford F-150 or the Expedition. Like you I would rather have a V8. Frankly, these large SUV's are getting to be ridiculously expensive. If I was in the market for one presently I would buy a Toyota Sequoia in the TRD Pro package. Its technology is lacking, I know but they're rock solid, roomy, tried and true. Just my two cents. Glad to see you back!

After looking at the interior space of the new Chevrolet Suburban, the Ford Expedition Max's interior space to my eye already looks dated, not to mention having much less cargo capacity than it's main competitor (121.5 cubic versus the Suburban's 144.7 cubic foot cargo hold).


The Expedition has the worst interior of the 3 best selling full size SUVs (Tahoe, Suburban, Expedition) in regards to build quality, design and overall fit and finish. Ford should give the Expedition its own SUV specific interior instead of just copying and pasting the instrument panel design from their F-Series trucks. Chevrolet has given their full-size SUVs their own specific interiors and look much nicer than the Silverado and Sierra's tired looking interiors as a result.
