Product Info: Batman is known for his wonderful toys and vehicles, and while the Batmobile and Batwing have received a lot of love over the decades, the Justice League aims to add a new vehicle to the stable with the Knightcrawler.

This 6-inch scale, Talking Interactive Knightcrawler is the best way to bring this vehicle home for kids and collectors. Looking like a weird, metallic walking crab, this vehicle is very unique and isn't like anything Batman has used before in comics, TV or film.

And, while it does take some getting used to, it's a good looking vehicle and Mattel has packed in a lot of features.

First, the Knightcrawler is part of the Interactive Talking Heroes Line, so when you push a button on any figure in the line and then push a button on the Knightcrawler, they will interact with each other. For example, Batman may say "Knightcrawler, time for justice" with the vehicle responding.

While the Talking Interactive Line might not be everyone's first choice, this vehicle benefits from the fact that it's 6-inch scale, and Mattel has made some great standard figures that will work perfectly with the Knightcrawler.

From a play perspective, the vehicle has two missiles that shoot and with the push of a button, it can walk. While the interactive figures themselves are marred by the figures looking awkward and not featuring the actors' voices, the vehicle is a great stand-alone piece in the line that can go on to bigger and better things.

Some important things to note are that the toy does require some assembly, so an adult is needed before play can begin, and you'll need to add five AA batteries, not included, to get the full walking and talking effect.

At an MSRP of $69.99 and age grade for four years and up, both kids and collectors will want this item. It's a lot of fun to play with, and it will look good on display or in a diorama.

Oh c'mon. It doesn't look like anything Batman has used before? This thing is just like the Scuttler vehicle from The LEGO Batman Movie minus the bat-head-shaped cockpit.
