They hate and are terrified of the gospel. It's really that simple.

I just love how he mentions there is "data" and other "scriptures" but never tells us what they are called.

According to the guy's green screen, Jesus is basically a buddhist John Wick

Not the real Jesus, but it's surely a lot cooler than the "essene magician" version

His name was actually Esus but changed to Jesus because of his relation to the Essenes. He also traveled the world retaining spiritual knowledge from age 12-30 which is why the Pharisee Christian religion is terrified of people finding out that 8 gospels and many other books were kept out of the Bible to keep it a government publication and not give the power to the people. This system is the same system that crucified Christ as He would burn their churches if He came back and saw what was going on. Jesus was not a Christian and John, his brother was also an eseene. Constantine and the Council of Nicea along with the anti christ Catholic Church has hidden more than that’s revealed and have archives hundreds of yards long hiding these secrets from the people. The gospel of Thomas gives you the secret to your unanswered prayers in Jesus’s own words!

Clickbait! The Buddha-Christ-Krishna-Mithra divinity in the background is not found in the Dead-Sea Scrolls.

Jesus didn't quite fit into any school of Judaism, but he was at most way more close to the Pharasaic school than the Essene school in terms of doctrine and their shared Canon used. Jesus even describes the Pharisees as sitting in Moses's seat, but warns not to imitate their hypocrisy.

It is debatable if John the Baptist was an Essene because of their shared acetic practices, but many biblical scholars find parallels between the Dead Sea Scrolls and 1st century Christianity in terms of attitudes towards the temple and the "Two Ways: Light and Darkness" doctrine that is found in the Didache and Colossians.

Lastly, Epiphanius of Salamis in his Panarion says that the Nazarenes (name for Christians in Judea) were called Jesseans as well, which might be a cognate of Essenes although it is unlikely. It is safe to say that the early Christian community probably included former Essenes, former Pharisees, and other Jewish groups.

My understanding is that there was more than one group of Essenes. The group in Egypt may have been into magic, but not the one in Qumran. I understand a good case can be made that John the Baptist was an Essene, and even that the Essenes had a Christophany. Source? Sorry, I haven't paid close enough attention, but check out the work of Dr. Ken Johnson.

What that guy won't tell you is that the word for Essene has the German word "Essen/Food" in it. However, it also has the Latin enclitic -ne at the end. So the group's name means 'Food?' If you don't believe me, trust my sources. I show them like Joseph Smith and his golden plates.

If your religion is the only religion on the planet that is openly hated by the most influential and the most popular people/media on the planet, completely free of consequence to them, then you are likely on the right path.

If you can walk into a room filled with people from all different religions and yours is the only one targeted as being wrong, you're probably on the right path.

When a Muslim preaches Islam, no one says a word for fear of being labeled a racist or an Islamophobe. When a Jew openly promotes Judaism, nothing is said against him and if someone dares criticize their beliefs that person is labeled as antisemitic and compared to Nazis.

There is a reason that Christianity is the main target of these people. There is a reason why Chris Pratt has been publicly shamed for talking about Jesus at an award show.

They want to pull people off of the right path and onto their corrupted one. Stay strong. Dont let these people deceive you.

Personally I believe that the Essene movement was much broader than just the Qumran community. Just like how there's the Shammai vs. Hillel side of Pharisaism, it's possible that Jesus, John and their Early followers were somewhat Essene orientated but less on the strict side of the spectrum. I mean, the Early Christians believed and did things that fits neither with Pharisees nor Saducees, and certainly not Zealots, but yet are almost identical to things we read about in the DSS. So it's possible in my opinion that the Qumran community and the Early Jesus movement had shared background or influences, from what I've read the Essenes traced themselves back to the Zadok priesthood and talked about a Melchizedek order, the name Melchizedek which interestingly seems to be used with a Messianic tone and in some texts it is even used to substitute the tetragrammaton in OT quotations (which would seem to make Melchizedek YHWH himself), so that could actually have something to do with what the Epistle to the Hebrews is talking about. The texts found at Qumran also teach that the Messiah would be called a Son of God (4Q246 directly parallels the annunciation scene in Luke as J.J. Collins pointed out), additional the Qumran texts appear to indicate that those who wrote them expected a Messiah who was more than just a mere man, the one like Son of Man is explicitly said to be the Messiah and is described as apparently being of heavenly origin, divine and eternal, essentially he is YHWH or at least that is how it looks. The NT doesn't depict the Jewish followers of Jesus as being clueless about him being divine, rather in a number of places they blatantly worshipped him and referred to him as God. This would be very strange unless there were in fact Jews in the 1st century who conceived of the idea that the Messiah would be YHWH incarnate, and the only group that we know of that could have held such a belief are Essenes. For all we know the Qumran community in particular could have been part of a much wider Jewish demographic of Essene beliefs and practices, as directly conflicting the Scribes Pharisees, and not only exclusive to Qumran. It's also interesting that the ascetic lifestyle and traditions of the Essenes are very similar to that of the Syriac Early Church Fathers and the Desert Fathers. Now, I do agree with James Tabor when he says he doesn't think Jesus was by any means a card carrying member of the Qumran community, or any group for that matter, but the community could have got their messianic ideas and interpretations of scripture more or less from the same place and ideological leaning that the early Jesus followers did. It's possible. The Anti-Pharisee rhetoric in the Dead Sea scrolls also parallels the NT. So there are certainly very similar trains of thought, practice, theology and messianic expectations that don't fit with any of the other sects that we know of. I am not saying they were members of any group, but the parallels are much bigger than just "they had the same Bible."

Luke says "he was in the deserts until the day of his shewing unto Israel". This allows for speculation that Jesus MAY have studied with the Essenes.

I think John the Baptist was an Essene or a break away faction. That the "Teacher of Righteousness" to him was Jesus.

Actually baptism wasn't practiced by any jews but the essenes. The simple fact that Yeshua sought baptism and they shared a lot of beliefs, most if not all, is a pretty good indication. The whole point of the essenes were to purify ones body physically and spiritually so that the Holy Spirit can enter a holy vessel. Paul kicked off Christianity, not Christ. Most people don't even know what all his teachings are because they're not in the Bible. Pliny lived with the essenes for three years and wrote extensively about their practices and either he or Josephus I can't remember which was present for Yeshua's ministry as a first hand witness during the actual time period and not several decades down the line.
