Bret Hart made Tom look like a million bucks. Hart did very well on carrying the match calling all the moves for Tom. Proves that Hart was a real professional.

Bret hart makes even a Broom look good in the ring. Bret hart managed not only to get a good match out of Tom magee, but managed to sell his punches and moves well. Vince mcmahon literally pee his pants when he saw this match and later in Backstage he told Tom magee "You are my next Champion". Later when Vince mcmahon put Tom magee in fights against Jobbers that's when he realized the reality of Tom magee.

I really don’t know how people would think that Tom Magee was a decent pro Wrestler...he looks awkward in the ring (ex. Elbow)...obviously Bret carrys him...he was a Powerlifter and a Gymnast (backflips) just not a good pro Wrestler...ntitot. he would probably be better in today’s Wrestling...he can do flips AND is a grown man...

Despite the fact that Bret carried the whole thing, I feel like Tom would have been a great preformer with time. He'd be an excellent mid-carder, just not a main-eventer.

Tom had tremendous potential. He had the combination of looks and agility that no one else did. Had he done a whole program with Bret, Tom would have learned enough moves to have been a long-term wrestler.

It's too bad that Magee couldn't wrestle, he had agility, size, look, and strength. However he didn't have the wrestling ability or the charisma to make it big.

Yet a guy like Outback Jack who literally has no skills gets more TV time than Tom.
