Hello and welcome to Trefforest station, located on the Core Valley lines, just south of Pontypridd. I've not documented the services at this station much, so here's a long overdue video if just that. We have an exclusive selection of 150s and 143s and 142s for you to enjoy. On this day, TfW Rail introduced timetable changes where services from Treherbert, Aberdare and Merthyr Tydfil ran non-stop between Pontypridd and Cardiff, hence passing through Trefforest without stopping. Instead, Trefforest is served by stopping services, terminating at Pontypridd, approximately every half hour.
