I would not recommend these adhesive pads. Especially if the shoe is too big, the foot moves and the pads will slip. The shoe should fit properly. If a model is only available in full sizes, I would avoid it. If there are half sizes, then you should get close to the right size. If it's just a little too tight, a shoemaker can help a lot by stretching the shoe, they know how to do it and it usually only costs €10. Don't try it yourself.
If no size fits properly or the last is too narrow, then you should choose a different model with a different last.
Think about your feet: they carry your entire weight and you will need them for the rest of your life! So stay away from shoes that fit incorrectly. The pain is not worth it. I know what I'm talking about.
