I really wish this had worked. I’m also glad I tried it on an outer edge first. It made a burn spot.

It says "see manual for correct setting", but the only thing I can find in the manual about settings for plastic is for "Bend plastic" and "Shrink plastic film" -- and neither one give an actual temperature -- just "LOW/HIGH" and "LOW/MED". Exact temperature would have been really nice.

I found that 850 is the best temp. But you gotta keep ot mov9ng otherwise youll get burn spots.

If I use this method, can I get away from my lens those little cracks that the standard ways are not able to fix?

Interesting, so does this method require pre-sanding, or is 650deg heat all that is needed(?)

You see, the trick is to make sure you don't linger on a particular area to the point that the headlight surface begins to "boil" lmao. Ask me how i know 😂. No, It was actually a busted headlight i was using for practice and im glad i did that first 👍

This literally discolored and cracked and made uncleanable my headlights definitely don't do this with a heat gun.
