Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel! This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!

I specialise in golf equipment reviews, golf instruction & I play against some of the best golfers in the world!

I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.

I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!

I used to LOVE the Raylor. Had the 14 and 16, ended up keeping the 16 for many years.

I love old clubs like that. I actually have some of the other system 2 Woods and I don't hit them but they look nice

Anyone remember when Rick coached Tommy?

Equipment from when hitting the centre of the club was paramount!

Notice the weight shift to his lead side right before he takes the club back. Simply beautiful to look at!!

I played a round this weekend using my very old Callaway Big Bertha Warbird driver, 3 and 5 just to see how I'd do. Didn't shoot any worse and hit every fairway with that 10 degree stainless driver.

I had one of those as a lad, I also had a TaylorMade Pittsburgh Persimmon 23° '5' wood, it was marked as a 5 and had that shaft length but bcloser to a 7 wood loft. I guess it was the same idea as a Callaway Heaven 7 but nearly ten years beforehand. Great club!

I have a Taylor Raylor still in my bag. Great for 220-230 I hit is instead of a 3 iron. Yes it’s old but consistent.

My buddy still has a Raylor in his bag. Sweet club!

I'm swinging an old Dunlop driver right now and it's great. It's not as forgiving as the monsters now but it's easier to move left or right and I can hit it every bit as far as a new driver.

There was a Ti Bubble 2 version of this club (had one 'back in the day') Not sure, but it might have been slightly smaller than this version !

Rick you really should caddy for Tommy or another pro at a tournament - would be an incredible video

Got a big bertha 3 from the late 90s, same deal, small club head, but ultra reliable, can easily hit it high, sting it, fade or draw, love the thing and wont upgrade til the shaft breaks

I recently found a 19° TM Raylor in a thrift store a few weeks back...I got it to use for questionable lies and punch shots...I love it though...I just need to replace the grip but even hard and dried out the full cord grips don't twist at all and im able to send it 190 out and jeep the fade within 10 yards of target
