Great set ! Next month I will buy my first "serious" equipment: Yamaha A-S 701 + YAMAHA CD-S303 + Pylon Opal Monitor. When I put it all together, I'll share it too!

I apologize for all the dislikes. I don't know why. There must be a lot of Yamaha haters for no good reason. These amplifiers are awesome. Thank you for presenting yours. :-)

Anybody complaining about bass: I own a AS 701 and it does have serious bass. People are showing these online with music that has no bass like jazz or calm guitar music. It does have frat party level bass when paired with large tower speakers and bass music.

I am in doubt about either the A-S701 new or a used Denon PMA-1510AE. Will be mostly used for Vynil, any comments on the phono stage? I have a pair or Dali Zensor 5 and a Pro-ject turntable without pre-amp.

I got the 501’s. Great integrated amp. I also bi-wired my speakers. What speakers are you using?

Hi. At the back of this amp there is an Impedance selector with a guide. However if you want to connect only 2 speakers (8oms per speaker ) using port A, should you use LOW or set the switch to High? Thank you!
