How'd you find the auto gearbox in the dmax? Earlier model Isuzu at work I find the gearbox fishes around a bit, but have heard that has been sorted in the later models

The v8 lexcen, hemi mr dodgey and torana would be a breath of fresh air but imagine a built tow car

It’d be cool if there was funds in the budget for a tow vehicle build series- unfortunately old F truck prices are way out there for the average racer. Old Isuzu beaver tails with LS swaps and club plates seem to be getting very popular.

Those Isuzu utes are great. My boss has had one for 7 years. 300, 000ks still hasn't replaced discs or clutch yet and the ute tows a large trailer about 70% of the time it's on the road. I'd have one over these Thailand built monster trucks getting around!

Sounds like some very interesting content coming up. The Lexcen is the only one that doesn't really grab me, but can't wait for all the other upgrades. Let those numbers tumble... What tyres were you running on your dad's ute last time? That converter is going to need some half decent rubber to make use of it.

I drove a new D Max from Patterson Cheney and found it slugish and not much power. The MUX was a bit better...

Hey Scotty, love everything ya do. On a side note, But can you increase the volume in your recordings so we don't have video volume up flat chat just to hear you, then an add comes on and blows the speakers apart haha.
