Not sure if anyone has mentioned it, but when serving the project, you can modify your command to serve on a LAN by specifying:

php artisan serve --host=192.168.0.24 --port=8000


which will open it up, in my case that ip is the IP of my VM, but works just as well for the IP of any machine that you have on your network.

If its possible could you do a full tutorial on pusher or websockets as all web platforms are using live feeds and live data on the site without refreshing websites/webapp pages.
