Hi there I’m a new subscriber as of tonight. I also am a self taught Jewellery artist. I have the deluxe artist wire jig. The pegs are metal with tubing that connects underneath to the pegs to keep them in place. My suggestion for you to stop the pegs from flying out would be to get some hollow fish tubing the right size and put them on the back of the pegs or maybe even drinking straws if they’re the right fit. The jig is good to make uniform loops for chandelier earrings

The hollow stretchy cord can be cut in short lengths for the back of the pegs to hold them on . I've found the original ones dont hold well after 1 use. Airhugs of positive energy to you and yours.

Can you draw your own designs and lay them onto it's surface to set the pegs where they need to be?

I have a mini wire jig leftover from when my daughter was
a preteen .
The jig and "wire writer" are pretty useless. The tools that came in the kit have gotten plenty of use .
