I realize this video is a bit old so I don't think I will get an answer too quickly, but at 15:27 you write that P(a) is true. Using existential generalization, shouldn't we be able to immediately deduce that Ex(p(x) ^ -B(x)) is true? It wouldn't matter if we proved -B(a) is true since P(a) is true and those two are and'ed.
Also, thanks for this video, my book was making me confused and this helped me :)

Why is it that "A student in Discrete Math hasn't read the book" receives an AND operator but "Everyone in Discrete Math passed the class" received an IF/THEN operator? How do I know which one to use in other problems?
