The water pressure at 13, 000 feet below sea level is almost 6, 000 PSI, any rupture or leak would result in an almost instantaneous filling of the vessel and total crushing of the victims, not to mention the ignition of the internal atmosphere that will be just as rapidly reduced to approximately 1/400 of it's original volume.

Even if the submarine somehow miraculously makes it to the surface, they better hope they’re found in time. The door on that sub is only able to be opened from the outside (seriously dumb decision), so it’s possible that they do see the sunlight and still d!e on the surface of the water from lack of oxygen.

I know many feel the same here and are hoping for the best....but I was thinking about how many successful submarine rescues have occured off the ocean floor.

You wouldn't think taking a sub to see the wreckage of the Titanic would end with a fate like the famous vessel.... life's a B sometime and she'll play for keeps.
