This is part 1 of my Donkey Kong Country Returns HD let’s play and complete game walkthrough video series were I complete world 1, Jungle! Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is an enhanced version of the original Donkey Kong Country Returns that was initially released on the Wii on November 21, 2010. Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is not the same game as Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze which was initially released on the Wii U at February 13, 2024 and later on the Nintendo Switch as well on May 3, 2018. However, these games are very similar. So, if you played Tropical Freeze before and you liked it, I’m pretty sure you will like Donkey Kong Country Returns HD as well! Donkey Kong Country Returns HD does feature both a single player and a multiplayer (2 player co-op) mode in which you can play either as Doky Kong or Diddy Kong and sometimes even have the ability to ride on the back of Rambi the Rhino! You’ll be able to play 80 levels across nine worlds, riding rockets and mine carts, stomping enemies, jumping on platforms and collecting all kinds of stuff, including lots of bananas!
