In 1971 my father was born. It took a world to turn for like more then half of an age to me to get to understand this message of Marvin.
You've got to live through war to get it. If you alive. If you ain't falling into drugs and alcohol, if you saved your mind.
This music is a soft pillow for 99 percent of listeners. At least in my region - russian speaking one.
I got through hell and didn't lost myself. I understand what's happening, brother.

This is beyond music, this is as close to concept album perfection as you can get. It doesn't matter which ethnicity, gender, political leaning, or orientation you are to truly appreciate this piece of art. Like good literature, the message remains relevant today. There are very few albums that can compete with this for the title of best album of all time.

When I was a teenager in high school, my dad had all of his music, I would come home many days and lay in the floor with big earphones 🎧 and listen to this whole album. I'll never forget where I was when I heard when he passed away, it still hurts today 2023 loved this man and his master pieces. He is the real 👑 of R&B 4EVER 💕.
