The core stage for NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, which is slated to launch astronauts around the moon for the first time since the Apollo era, was rolled out of the space agency’s Michoud Assembly Facility, in New Orleans, and transported to NASA’s Pegasus barge for shipping to the Kennedy Space Center, in Florida, July 16, 2024.

Actually, it's good that there was such a long break in human flight to the moon. It's as if we're experiencing our first flight now. Perhaps this flight will bring people together, at least.
