Mike Ditka and "Da Bears" did not let the pressure of closing the deal stop them as they went on to win Super Bowl XX in dominant fashion: 46-10 over the New England Patriots.

I am from the Chicago area but Super Bowl XX Bears vs. Patriots was an ordeal for me. My mother was a Bears fan and had been looking forward to the Super Bowl for weeks. She died January 21, 1986, 5 days before the Super Bowl. I went to her funeral the January 25, 1986, the day before the Super Bowl. I watched the Super Bowl with my mind reeling with grief. I may have been watching for her sake. I will never forget those events. I hope everyone appreciates their family members.

Thank you for posting this, @NFL. As a Bears fan it was hard to miss this game but when it was played I was deployed to Honduras. The only comms was a (military) satellite radio and with radio silence I had no idea who won for three days. This is literally my first time seeing the full game.

Good god I have never seen a team like the Patriots look absolutely terrified offensively to take the field. That Bears defense was & still today was the most dominating defense in the history of the NFL

I'm an Eagles fan and love my 90'-93 Eagles defenses, but hands -down, the 85' Bears defense is the greatest of all time, devastating!

The first Super Bowl I remember watching. Born and raised in Dallas. Lifelong Cowboys fan. My God that Bears team was incredible. I always said as a kid if I made it to the NFL (yeah right) lol if I couldn't play for the Cowboys. I'd want to be a Chicago Bear.

My mom and her family were actually from Chicago and used to live there. She told me that when they were watching the game, her brother actually recorded the entire game on their TV. And they would watch it over and over and over again. It was pretty amazing

I saw this game on TV 39 years ago.How time flies.I just saw Super Bowl #59 over a month ago. Hopefully I get a chance to see #60 next year
