What to read after Berserk

Berserk seems to come in as number one on many people’s list of their favorite manga. But what do you read after you’ve completed Berserk? Here are some manga that are similar in some way to Berserk that you might be interested in.

Fist of the North Star:
A highly influential post-nuclear martial arts master piece that you must read at least once in your lifetime.

Vagabond:The manga version of Eiji Yoshikawa’s novel Musashi by the creator of Slam Dunk. Not fantasy, but it’s hard not to like this if you like Berserk.

Kingdom:
Set in the Warring States period in ancient China, this as of now 62 book epic covers the fictional story of Xin and his comrades as he fights to become the best general under heaven and unify China.

I thought this was going to be a joke and it would be something like "read berserk again". but I'm not disappointed time to read these.

I suggest, claymore, gantz, chainsaw man, blade of immortal, vinland saga and kokou no hito

Vagabond is truly a great manga. It shares its similarities with Berserk with having a very high-quality art, being quite adult-themed with lots of brutal fighting, compelling and saga-oriented stories, and... probably not seeing the true ending, unfortunately, with the manga being in hiatus for 6 years.

I really recommend Ashita no Joe. Its a sport series, but it has the quality elements Berserk has. The main protagonist is literally one of the best protagonists I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. The anime is also amazing, for me being one of the most gorgeous adaptations ever made. Cant recommend Ashita no Joe enough!

I'd definitely recommend anything by Naoki Urasawa. Monster and Pluto are my personal favorites but anything by him is some of the best manga I've ever read.

(Also Fist of the North Star is a classic I had a great time reading it lol)
