Ever Forward Headed To Annapolis After Being Freed From Chesapeake Bay

Crews successfully refloated the Ever Forward cargo ship over the weekend, more than a month after it got stranded in the Chesapeake Bay.

The "Everhard" got stuck in a Virginia canal. The Coast Guard's efforts to pull it out were met with resistance from both Virginia and the "Everhard's" owner. A Virginia spokesperson said "I really didn't mind it there, I kind of liked it "

who ever the pilot company is they should pay for all of this, the pilot failed period and was in charge when this happened not the captain

Simple mathematics to offload the cargo and fuel to make the ships lighter to refloat. All those involved may have a high degree of education, it just let sit on the muddy bay for a month. Typical American MBA.
