Calculator Tutorial - Intro to the TI-30XS Multiview

In this video, I walk you through a basic tutorial of the Texas Instruments TI-30XS Multiview calculator, quite possibly the most widely used and popular scientific calculator today. I walk you through basic operations, editing expressions, the decimal/fraction toggle feature, classic versus mathprint views, using radicals, exponents, and scientific notation, basic trig functions, and basic statistics capabilities. This calculator got me through high school and university. I’ve had one since 2009. I’ve somehow lost it over the years and I picked one up today for old times sake. I’m actually glad that calculators don’t change like phones do each year. It just takes me back to those old days. (:

Omg you’re a lifesaver! My professor has a Casio that has the feature of the arrows so you can go back and edit something you’ve entered— as a calc student I need to sometimes just add an extra 0 or a negative to the same problem. I have this Texas instrument one and I simply thought it wasn’t able to do that because i didn’t know I was supposed to press “enter” after pressing the up arrow. This is going to make things so much easier! Thanks a lot!!
