As a warhammer player, I must say that everything about it is almost unnecessarily giant, especially the prices

“Warhammer 40k :it’s on a completely different scale”

Anyone want to pitch that as the tag line to games workshop

I'm sorry, but if you're including the asteroid ship from Star Trek on the basis that it has internal life support, weapons, and engines, then how does the Death Star not qualify?

Is anyone really surprised that Warhammer 40K wins anymore? It's a joke, _"Who's number 1?", "Warhammer", "Ok, who's number 2?", "THAT is a good question..."_

I feel like Space Hulks deserve a mention too, for the WH40K universe.

#EckhartsLadder, you need to correct your information. 1AU (astronomical unit) is not 100, 000 km. 1 AU is actually the distance between Earth and Sun, i.e. approximately 150, 000, 000 km.

The Death Stars were capable of hyprspace travel and moved exactly like any other ship.

The Death Star and High Charity are spaceships. They have both FTL and sunlight mobility. Even if they're called space stations, they are 100% functionally spaceships.

Starkiller Base might also count, given it clearly has FTL capability.

Remember what a spaceship actually IS: A vehicle that travels through space.

This reminds me of that Meme between the Imperium of Man and Federation ship comparison.

Whenever people compare WH40K to literally any other Sci-Fi universe, I always know that 40K will win. Not even because I'm a fanboy, but because *EVERYTHING* in 40K is the most OP thing ever. Nothing can compare to 40K in any way.

The forerunner mega structures have an FTL drive, sublight engines. Weapons and shields. Going on your ckassification of the star trek ship then the halo rings and ark etc should count.

While I agree that High Charity isn't a ship, I was surprised by how small you made it seem. 50+ Kilometers, while not wrong, didn't sit well with me...

I just looked it up and apparently it is over 500 kilometers tall, and over 300 across. It's a very big boy.

Ahhh I see we wanted an obvious number 1 slot

Yeah i don't know... this kinda felt inconsistent. Some space stations count as ships, some don't, the sizes don't match up for a lot of the ships. High Charity was not 50km across. It was 500km across. It had sheilds, engines, a jump drive (and is observed jumping in the game and described in detailed in the books) and weapons, life support, etc. High Charity is absolutely a ship. This comparison seemed pretty flawed from the start.
Star wars- “we don't really see anything that's 100’s of kms long” Death Star - 160km wide

Alien's bridge: Somewhere the middle.
