Since we the TAXPAYERS are the ones who are going to be PAYING, it SHOULD be up to US. Not allowing it on the ballot because certain Government officials think we're "financially stressed" means they don't think we know what we're doing. 😡

Next chance we get, we need to vote these condescending people out.

Each time I hear/see an educational issue come out, I have recall of the beginnings of the lottery. The advocacy of reasoning used was the monies$$$ that would benefit Florida children, teachers, and schools.
Since the conception of the lottery, & how popular the lottery, along with astronomical amount of growth, school system have declined in all aspects. Teachers underpaid, text books outdated, along with children receiving lower end of yr educational scores.
Once again (as always) teachers lower than the avg low income of other teachers statewide.
I would appreciate seeing a spread sheet of where the hell monies from the "educational" lottery have been dispersed & utilized.
To increase the taxes of residents that are financially tight b/c tax/ins/rental increases is an atrocity
