My book of Bible Stories - Hilarious Chapter

Do Jehovah's Witnesses really read this chapter in "my book of bible stories" ?

Jehovah chose to do a miracle, to destroy the wall of Jericho so the inhabitants could be destroyed.

Would it not be a better miracle to let the inhabitants fall asleep peacefully? Would not a loving god come up with a better miracle then a brutal military miracle? If the people of Jericho had done something wrong, would it not be better to tell them what they have done wrong and what they would do instead.

Well acording to most Christians, and Jehovah Witnesses in perticular, God was mostly interested in the Gold, Silver, Copper and Iron (?!)

Jehovahs focus was not on how to minimize the suffering of the children of Jericho, his focus was to enrich Joshua. (Joshua was the guy who spoke to god and wrote the book)

It was at a district convention sometime in ths 1980s they had a cringy drama about that story. My mom & others thought it was a brilliant idea that they used a net with foam rubber "rocks" attatched to it to cover Achan's family, because they were stoned to death. Aaand I made the mistake of telling an elder friend that all these killings really bothered me. The lecture I got about Jehovah's righteousness in response didn't help.
Killing killing killing _Thou shalt not kill_ and more killing always bothered me. Which was my fault because I had a learning disability.

A Savior Baby born was to be the most heart warming story in my book of Bible stories, but this year convention drama gave me confident that it actually isn’t. When I saw the part Herod spitting out yelling: 🗡 the boys under 2 of ages and the soldier aiming 🗡 to a little boy, I got a panic attack and got out instantly from that audience and was at the lobby crying. And I rather questioned This Book God. How couldn’t you STOPPED Herod’s plan knowing he will do such horrific thing cuz your Son born. YOU SURE did KNOW it, cuz you gave dreams beforehand to Joseph to leave to SAVE ONLY your baby😮And this so-called Christian org had the nerve showing such HORRIFIC SCENES to little children attending that convention😢
