Amazing DIY Mobile Mitre Saw stand (with dust extraction)

This video is an overview of my mobile mitre saw station.
It has fold up and fold out wings giving an excellent length and work piece support, more like a fixed mitre saw station.

The mitre saw dust extraction is very efficient, like nothing else out there!

This is also referred to as a miter saw stand in the USA.

Thanks for the walk-through explanation. I've built my version with your excellent wing design largely unmodified. Works like a charm. I found some sliding door latches from Japan that work well to hold the swing-out deck in place while it's at rest vertically. Overall, I have 11' of deck now. Thanks again for sharing!

Best mobile one I've seen on YouTube so far and I have seen a LOT! The kreg stop and extendable wings is a great idea. Like you I have a small shop so everything has to be mobile. Great idea and great video, thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing your idea. Already "stole" it and built one for myself, but slightly adapted (larger, no fences as the saw fence it's enough to square the wood piece, and t track installed in the flat surface)

One of the most clever versions of this I've seen also. I was looking around for ideas and will likely incorporate many of your features. I don't really like an extended vertical fence on a miter saw, so will probably make mine with just a T-Track in the flat surface of the wings for stop blocks. I'm also thinking some weight could be taken out by cutting holes into the fold out wings in locations that do not compromise it's structure.
