That 1987 collaboration with Stevie Ray Vaughan on "Pipeline" is one of the great guitar recordings of all time.

I remember when he was working on building guitars talking about chopping down a phone pole and stringing it up! To get that FAT sound.
I’ll have to fine a biography on him somewhere. He sure had an amazing life. Bet some great stories to be heard.

What a legend.

I’m going to go build a stray in his honor! Surf green!

He used to do concerts outside the Huntington Beach Surf Museum for free. People walking downtown could hear his signature sound blaring away on a summer day.

Damn that sucks he had to play to pay medical bills. He transformed the music business and this is what he was left with. BS.

What a legacy he left. R.I.P

John 3:16 God so loved the World* and this neighbor was a part of it.2Cor.5:15 Christ died for everyone* and he fits into that also. 1Cor.15:38 God giveth a body, as it pleases Him. Jesus didn't live "surf guitar" lifestyle. But guitar man* will get his 1rst chance at life someday, because of Jesus.
