At the start of these I'd like to see him discuss hand hygiene, not touching your face, no shaking hands/hugging/kissing etc. Wiping high-touch surfaces with wipes/alcohol. Wear a mask where appropriate. These are simple things each person can do to stay safe and stop the spread.

Dear Mayor Diblasio- Save your breath and close the parks. There is no way you can expect anyone to visit a park or court (basketball/tennis/handball) and practice social distancing.

Social Distancing is a new behavior model which requires conscious thinking. Parks are usually associated with fun and being care free.

Therefore if you really want to be impactful and force this new behavior on the public for its good- close the parks.

People will complain (A PETTY NY PRIVILEGE) however the risk of increasing the spread will be lower.

We are a tough gritty group of citizens and we WILL prevail but only if we make the effort collective and trust in the process.
