In 1943 RCA produced this Christmas record which contains a greeting on the A side and the song "Over There" on the B side. It is a song originally recorded in 1918 for World War 1, but deemed appropriate for the Christmas season of 1943 in the throws of World War 2.

It does not appear to be a modern orchestra dub, but rather a new pressing of the original 1918 record.

The matrix number "D-3" is a totally new matrix number for this new electrical transcription of the 1918 original.

It is the dubbing alright, not an original pressing - as I wrote before, RCA frequently dubbed their original acoustic masters to be amplified - even without the added new orchestra. "Noche feliz", this one, and the Boheme coat song are all examples of that practice.
