ABOUT…
I am Rebecca and I am one heck of a passionate vocal coach/singer/songwriter/impressionist/health/fitness/self- improvement/anything that makes me smile!! I love anything vocal/singing related and geek out on it every day. I want to motivate and inspire others to follow their dreams…corny? Well maybe but it’s true. So what’s motivating me?? I had a huge tumour removed summer 2017 and my ovaries and fallopian tubes. The tumour was the size of a 20 week baby!! However, despite not being able to walk for a couple of weeks, and feeling generally awful…. It has made me create and do what I love! It wasn’t an easy time but I won’t let fear dictate my life. I didn’t think ‘why me’, there are plenty of horrific issues people have to deal with…it’s not always smooth sailing. It’s true when you hear, ‘Life is short’, the crazy thing is, I am glad it happened…I appreciate life even more and practice gratitude everyday…It’s so easy to get caught up with the little things…and I do sometimes, but look at the bigger picture, will it matter in a year or two…?

Marko is my Totem animal! Have met Him several times, over the Years. Last one after His solo gig in Tuska 2019, in Helsinki 2, 5moths ago! Really and mean really nice man! Always joking and little twinkle in His eyes! One of the best people in world to take couple beers with. Chatting and make world better place! For the record: Not beers anymore, becouse Marko quit drinking allready, almost ten years ago! 👍

I met Marko and Troy after a show in Denver. My friend said she would love to meet them someday, so I said why not tonight? And I dragged my panicked nervous friend to the backstage door. I went inside, and I saw them hanging out while Floor was doing a meet n greet. I asked them if they could come out and say hi to some people outside, and they were like hell yeah. Better than being bored waiting for Floor to be done. Those guys were some of the chillest, funniest dudes I've met. They're like the Dwarves at Bilbo's house. Always happy. Always with smiles. If you don't have a smile, they will give you one. My friend was shy, and I told them she liked them, but she's over there being starstruck omg nervous, so they went to her, and hugged her, and dragged her into our circle. We all laughed and took pics. Floor came out for a bit and waved at everyone, and one of the roadies pretty much dragged Marko and Troy onto the bus. You want to make fans for life? Cuz that's how you make fans for life :D

Marco is the biggest metal head of the band and yet his bandmates point out in many interviews that he writes the sweetest and softest songs

"While Your Lips Are Still Red (Live at Wembley)" is another song sung by Marco with Floor backing his voice, very beautiful, I think you should react to that one too, you'll love it!

My son introduced me to Nightwish. He goes to see them every time they come to the U.S. My son is 28, I am 66. Music indeed bridged the ol' generation gap. We have gone to concerts together for years. We call it " sharing". His first concert was in Boston to see Pat Benatar with me...since then, we go to all concerts together ! ( I was probably the only person to bring a walker to an Iced Earth concert !!! ) LMAO !!

Floor and Marco are a great match. Their voices suit each other and neither of them mind it when the other one is at the center of attention. They clearly like each other, and it makes them so much more wonderful to experience.
The song is written by Marco, before Floor joined the band, but every song is at least as good as it was with the singer, who recorded it originally. She's awesome, and so is he.

There is nothing you can say good enough for this band. The greatest female vocalist on earth. A brilliant vocalist that is the main and excellent bassist. A lead guitarist that can make the guitar jump through hoops when the music requires it. A drummer that can keep that beat moving for as long as he wants without ever missing a beat. A Troy (he is unique so his name is his title) who can play instruments that god hasn't invented yet and last, but definitely not least, a keyboard player and absolute genius that writes this music, these stories, these tales of fantasy - and makes them real.

Frankly, I'm astonished by Floors ability to hold back. Honestly, that woman never ceases to impress me. Shes doing all sorts of acrobatics and still, manages not to steal the spotlight.

Knowing what a powerhouse she is, its like a Typhoon being able to set itself up so it provides a gentle breeze.

Played a show with Nightwish in New Zealand. Marco was by far the coolest guy out of all of them. Very chill and happy to just hang out and party.

The amazing dynamics between the three singers in Nightwish is astonishing. Floor, of course, has the amazing and versatile range, as well as the ability to sing all the different styles, then you have Marco with his powerful, theatrical heavy metal head voice, but also the soft, fairytale-esque bard quality, and then you have Troy, the calm and laid back storyteller, who when he sings sounds like he has sung lullabies all his life. A golden trio in a perfect band, with astonishing musicianship, and the composing and songwriting by Tuomas Holopainen has no equal on this earth.

This song shows all the sides of Marco and catches the wonderful chemistry between him and Floor Jansen perfectly, how they complete each other on stage, and it always leaves me with a feeling of warmth deep inside the core of my heart and soul whenever I hear their voices compliment each other.

Was fortunate to meet Marko and get a photo with him at ProgPower in Atlanta a few years back when he was there performing with Delain. He’s one of the most accessible and coolest musicians I’ve ever met.
