Uncertainty looms over Charter Tourism as OMICRON variant of Covid surfaces

There is tension in the air as the deadly OMICRON variant of Covid has surfaced in South Africa.
Just as things were beginning to normalize, uncertainly looms over Charter Tourism. Today Herald TV’s Navin Jha spoke to the Goa Airport Director Gagan Malik about the same. Malik said that the Passengers coming from risk nations including UK will be mandatorily subject to RT-PCR test. If found positive, they will have to undergo institutional quarantine. Even as 27 slots have been booked, Charters tourism will depend on new Govt of India protocols.
