The Airbox Model 1x1 is the only product of its kind on the market- a fast, lightweight, affordable option for making any 1x1 LED panel into a single soft source. It is available as a stand-alone softbox and as a kit which includes an eggcrate louver for control. The eggcrate louver is in 2 sections to maintain portability and allow the user to stow the softbox with the eggcrate still mounted.

The Model 1x1 features a clear front sleeve into which the user can insert additional diffusion,color, or other modifier. The base level of diffusion is light but effective; the inventor of this device often uses a piece of Lee or Rosco 250 or 251 in the front pocket for additional softening. You also might be interested in our gel and diffusion kit which includes the basic gels that most people need for use with LED panels.

Like all Airbox Inflatable Softboxes, the Model 1x1 rolls up or folds up flat and stows easily in a pocket or in a light case or gear bag. We recommend rolling the deflated softbox for maximum product life. The Model 1x1 fits on any 1x1 LED panel on the market, as well as several slightly smaller panels, since the mounting system is quite flexible. Even with an imperfect fit on a slightly smaller light like a 9'x11" panel, the effect on the light is the same: a soft, unified source that's far more pleasing than a raw LED.
