Roccat Kone Pure Ultra Review with Quake Highlights

The Roccat Kone Pure returns with an ultra light weight version, advertised at 66g but 68/69g on my scales with a bit of cable.

It's still basically the same mouse, many love it and with good reasons, it's still one of the best mice ever made. Although whether or not it suits you, that's another question.

I love the feel and quality of Roccat mice. They were always more expensive than others but it was worth it, especially for the scroll wheels on the Kone series.

Definitely worth a look if it suits your hand measurements.

Update: I copied over the wrong key test! I had too many in the one file, so even though it was named correctly, I had forgotten I had done two for Kone Left VS G903 Right. The Kone Right VS G903 Left is very close, between 0.5 and 1.5ms difference... so I said the right latency difference but showed the wrong one. My apologies. I'm working on too many mouse reviews at once at the moment.



Also for the record, my hands look fine in real life. But high def camera + lens combo = add 300 years. The white still gets over exposed at times. The preview isn't showing me that, even with lines to show over exposed areas. I'll figure it out.

Short reviews because companies keep releasing the same mice. Gets boring as a reviewer but hopefully you got enough info. It's really not that different other than the weight.

Still working on the Roccat KAIN review, that'll be more in depth because it's new! Yay!

Been enjoying this mouse for a couple weeks now. At first I was missing the larger palm rest from my Corsair M65 but having almost half the weight (121gm) makes a crazy good difference.

You could monitor the decibels when you show how loud the clicking on Keyboards/Mouses, whatever you're going to demonstrate the loudness of something, would be a better way for us to get a general idea on it. Just an idea though if there's people out there that actually care about that.

The KPOE shape is godsent. Wish it came in wireless. I did tried the Ec2 as well , but i hate it. The kpoe just fits my hand so damn good. 19.5x11, actual claw grip (not your fingertip/claw type of grip)

Roccat Kiro is still the best mouse for me (and i had a lot of mouses since 1996). Just bought two of them and have zero complaints about weight. I had two Roccat Kone also - one started to doubleclick very soon and other lived about 1 month. Yes, Kone have super awesome materials and feels in hand like cold smooth stone, Roccat's mouses have great design and are very cool for small hands but for me they should do much better about life cycle and reliability of their products or have great warranty like logitech.
