I do love cables, this winter we are doing a cable knit-a-long with a feature of the patterns of Tin Can Knits in their Lazy Sunday collection, link below. This video is an introduction to reading cable charts.

Sweater is not part of the collection, it is the Billie Pullover by Sari Norlund:

I'm wearing the No Frills Sweater by PetiteKnit, no cables, but a great way to show off the color changing mohair we have:

Sun Dragon t-shirts are now available in our online shop, in mustard yellow and royal blue:

We worked with Brevard Screen Printing, consider Michelle for your next apparel job:

Thank you, this was the best video I've seen so far that explained almost everything about cable patterns and gave good examples on how to do it.

Wow, I never thought to colour code stitches. I will definitely try it. I have the 250 Japanese stitches book and I’ve been wanting to make something using patterns from there.

Thanks! Even though I consider myself quite good at reading charts, I always learn something from you. I always just kind of memorize what the symbols looked like and knew that they spanned across many stitches but now I understand what all those crazy diagonal lines really mean lol.

Hi ! Thank you so much for the content you have create and share. I just came across your channel and have already learned so much. Couple of questions for you 1) how do you go about reading different cable charts? I am currently working on a pattern that says knit chart a 2x and then knit chart b (raglan increase). There is a different chart for the yoke and I can’t seem to figure out whats going on and 2) do you still offer zoom/virtual 1:1 lessons? I saw in an older video that you used to. If so, can you share details on how to sign up? Thank you in advance !
