Coming from an artist, those markers you used looked like alcohol markers, which are great for art because you can blend them, but not so much for scrapbooking and journaling because they always bleed through. I’d recommend looking into water-based markers which rarely bleed and often have really cute colours. A cheaper brand would be ohuhu water-based dual tip markers which have a brush tip and a bullet tip, or if you feel like it a more expensive brand is Tombow brush markers which also have a brush nib on one end and a bullet nib on the other.
