SR20DET, turbo flutter : GT2860R with no BOV

This is my stock SR20 with BC cams, Garrett Gt2860R, K&N pod and bov blocked off, it has some nice flutter.
Car is Jap Spec 180SX Type X, not 200SX or 240SX

Kevin. I no longer own the car. However my nephew has it and still running no bov on 16psi no problems. I think the no bov kills turbos theory is bull. Bad tunes, bad driving or old high kms turbos is the problem. My previous sr had no bov and ran 22 psi all day every day.

Are you still running the car with no bov? If so hows the turbo holding up? And also how much boost are you running? I am going to do the same setup on mine stock piping with a front mount intercooler and a gt2860.

How can u make the bov sound without one? Even the Flutter, wich i think is more difficult to get. Thanks!

Nah, sometimes gives a nice little pop from the exhaust but that's about all.

Does it ever run funny after lifting at full throttle? Like does the maf sensor get confused with air running past backwards? Any clips of a full boost throttle lift?
