The Polar Express has always been a very special book and film to my family. It was something I shared in my childhood with my grandfather, who was truly like a second father to me. We watched it every year together. Losing him has made the film even more precious. Whenever I watch it during Christmas in the years following his passing, I can feel his warmth and love in my heart and recall all the wonderful memories he gave me. Thank you for making this atmosphere, so I can sit in that feeling for even longer than a movie. I know he would love this. I can see him putting it on the tv as we decorate his house for Christmas. ❤

I absolutely adore this. The second it began playing, I felt that nostalgic, whimsical rush of beauty and innocence.
