The Role of Music in Language Acquisition

What role does music play in the Helen Doron programmes?
Especially for language learning, music is extremely important. We pick up the intonation, the syntax, the rhyme, pre-reading abilities, everything through music. It becomes much more integrated into our very being through music, and we love music. I love writing it together with the composer I've been working with now for over twenty-five years, Niko Levy. And we all love hearing and singing music, and moving, and dancing to it. It is one of the most basic instincts we have. So music is very much used. We are prolific songwriters and producers and we hope you're going to enjoy the music that we use for teaching and for learning.
