Scotland has no interest in Kier Starmers conservative-lite.
Lets be honest, if left wing voters were presented with an actual choice, then as happened in Scotland, voters would leave Labour in droves. I know that this particular left winger can't stand voting for a party that hates him as much as Starmers Labour party does.

Literally the only thing keeping the two main parties on life support is the FPTP system.

If we had PR then both labour and the tories would have been consigned to the political dustbin (where they belong) years ago!

I hate to say this, and I say it having *never* voted Tory, but when they *are* replaced by Labour, I’ve been around long enough to know it won’t be long before folks will be getting impatient with them and so the pendulum will swing once again. As mentioned, I’m no fan of the Tories, but Labour doesn’t do that much for me either. No, this whole thing is bigger than tribal party politics: it’s a crisis of democracy. Why is it that we essentially just have 2 choices every time we go to vote? For some it’s a Hobson’s Choice; 2 sides of the same coin. The voting system needs a radical overhaul. When I go to the supermarket, I don’t expect just a choice between bread or slightly staler bread.

😂😂😂 so funny, Labour turned the Scot’s against themselves. Scot’s are democracy-light second-class citizens within the union and uk labour were and are happy to keep that as the status quo.
Scot’s will embrace a new real Scottish Labour after independence, though they will have their work cut out for them showing they can both deliver on election promises, and co-operate with parties with many the same goals. The snp and labour should have been natural allies across Scotland, but instead Labour formed coalitions with the lavatories.
