I always pay my credit card the day I get the bill in the mail which is 3 weeks before it's due. I just like paying in advance and always pay the full amount. I also know if I have to charge a large amount to my card I wait till the billing period ends and that way it won't show up for 2 months on the card. For instance- buy a large ticket item in Feb the day after the billing period ends. Won't be billed for it until April

Good tips. I have extra things most I bought on sale most I use from time to time, I just store in closet or drawers and organize them neatly. Minalism looks to bare to me. If I don't need things later can sell or give away .

Loved the list.
The only little point is that I have friends who rented and now at 50, it's too late to get a 20year mortgage and buy a place. They need to plan to pay rent for their entire retirement. That's a lot of savings they need. Friends with houses can sell if they choose and use the equity to live. I know you are young but time flies.

If you own a home and need to replace the hot water heater the place you buy it from more than likely will install it for you, no charge.

The one big drawback o renting is that the owner can sell the property you are renting and here is the dilemma of finding another house, not having to change schools, doctors and other services. Renting doesn't always give you stability. Cheers just h

We rented a house for 5 year and paid more in rent than we did to buy our home now we bought a old mobile home and remodeled it now it's new in side and we don't have a house payment that frugal living lol
